Dear Friends of Tabitha
At the start of the Year 2010 I have felt very strongly that we need to have three months of prayer and fasting for Tabitha Ministries. At the Hope Centre we have already started each taking a day of prayer and fasting. I am very happy if people would choose to double up or even just join us in a prayer chain till the end of March.
I pray that our overseas friends will join us so that we can have 24 hour prayer coverage. If there are any people that would like to carry us for the rest of the year please let us know because this is so encouraging to have prayer partners to sustain the ministry.
Prayer Needs
- Trusting God for Revival amongst our children from Child Headed Households in Sweetwater's.
- Trusting God for school uniforms and stationary for 3000 children.
- Trusting God for favour at the educational department for school fees for all our children.
- Trusting God for the social and moral safety of the children from Child Headed Households.
- Trusting God for the health and wellbeing of all those under the umbrella of Tabitha Ministries.
- Trusting God for spiritual awakening during our monthly outreach to the Tabitha Staff and children in the Sweetwater's Community.
- Trusting God for all our funders overseas and local for their wells to be opened in prosperity regardless of the recession.
- Trusting God for the wells of Tabitha Ministries to overflow to bless those who are destitute and in need.
- Trusting God for food, medicines, milk formula, nappies for adults and children.
- Trusting God for funding to complete the community centre to make more room available for destitute children.
I know this is a huge prayer list but even as I write them down I believe that I am putting them before the throne of Grace. The Word of God tells me;
"That my God never slumbers nor sleeps and that he promises that He will supply our needs according to his riches in glory as we lay hold of Him"

About Tabitha
Tabitha Ministries started in May 1998, and has developed many aspects of assistance into the community and urban areas around Pietermaritzburg.
Tabitha is Christian based and concentrates on programmes such as caring for those that are affected and infected with HIV/AIDS, both adults and children, with Community Patients and children from Child-Headed Households being a major focus.
